Cricket West Indies (CWI) chief selector, Roger Harper confirmed on the Mason and Guest show this evening (Tuesday, June 2) that the West Indies Test squad to tour England will be announced tomorrow Wednesday, June 3. While Harper was cautious in producing hints about the squad, he noted that some ten to eleven players will be reserved while some fifteen players will be in the final squad.
According to popular cricket host Andrew Mason, he disclosed that information has been circulating that the likes of Shimron Hetmyer, Keemo Paul and Darren Bravo have not made themselves available to tour England. The accuracy of this information about this trio will be confirmed tomorrow when the offical announcement is made.
Earlier today, the schedule of the three-match Test series was confirmed. The first Test will commence from July 8-12 at the Ageas Bowl, followed by the second Test on July 16 and the third and final Test on July 24 at Emirates Old Trafford.
