BCB eyeing September restart, only Covid-19 vaccinated cricketers allowed

The Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) President Hilbert Foster recently announced that the 2021 BCB season would most likely restart in September after the end of the current rainy season. Foster warned that the board would do so under very strict Covid-19 guidelines, noting that the health and safety of players and officials shall be the main concern of his administration.

Foster urged umpires to make sure that they are fully vaccinated, as anyone who is not vaccinated would not be allowed to play in cricket tournaments organized by the BCB.
